
Nine Service Members Dead in Black Hawk Helicopter Collision
Two Army HH-60 Black Hawk helicopters collided in Kentucky on Wednesday night, resulting in a deadly crash. The collision occurred during a routine training exercise, resulting in the deaths of everyone on both helicopters. Kentucky State Police, military investigators, and several other agencies were on the scene of the crash, which occurred around 10:00 p.m. near Fort Campbell, KY. "We can confirm two aircraft from the 101st were involved in an accident last night resulting in several casualties," the 101st Airborne Division, the only air assault division of the U.S. Army, said in a tweet early Thursday morning.
