Lawmakers Call for Pause on Offshore Wind Farms After Dead Whales Pile Up on East Coast
Republican officials in New Jersey are calling for a 2-month pause on wind farm operations just off America’s east coast, believing them to cause the more than 32 dead whales that have washed up on beaches since January. The dead whales have been spotted in almost every state between New York and North Carolina.
