
Marianne Williamson Staffers Open Up About Abuse During 2020 Campaign
Self-help guru and best selling author Marianne Williamson has recently announced her campaign to run in the Democratic primaries for the 2024 presidency. However, it appears her announcement has brought to light some skeletons in her closet left over from her previously unsuccessful 2020 campaign. In a recent interview with 12 of her former staffers, all claimed to have suffered verbal and emotional abuse from Williamson while employed by the campaign. Although Williamson is a self-proclaimed ‘spiritual advisor,’ many from her team claim she did not practice what she preached. “It would be foaming, spitting, uncontrollable rage,” a staffer said when describing some of their exchanges with Williamson. Although all of the staffer’s names were kept anonymous for privacy reasons, former U.S. Congressman Paul Hodes publicly vouched for the claims, stating that they were certainly reflective of his past experiences with Williamson.
