Ukraine Strikes Back at Russian PMC
Ukraine has reportedly struck the H.Q. of the state-funded mercenary group “Wagner” in eastern Ukraine. The private military company founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a close ally of Putin, has played an active role throughout the war in Ukraine. Recently, Wagner has been on the frontlines in the Russian offensive against the city of Bakhmut, and its troops are embedded in Russian positions throughout Ukraine. According to Ukraine, their H.Q. in Luhansk was destroyed, with “significant losses.” Ukraine's strikes, and progress in recapturing territory, continue to show their dedication to continuing the conflict until their land is returned.
